An opportunity has arisen for a clinical diagnostics sales person to join the team and sell in the south west territory which includes South Wales. Products include instrumentation, reagents and kits for: autoimmune testing, blood viruses, diabetes testing, genetic disorder testing, Immunohaematology, clinical microbiology and QC reagents.

Essential Skills: Candidates require a Biomedical Science background ideally with sales experience to hospital pathology laboratories. An outstanding trainee rep may be considered if they can show knowledge of the sales process and have the drive and self motivation to succeed.

Salary: Negotiable £28,000 - £37,000 basic + bonus + package

Job Description: My Client’s product range consists of top quality, microbiological agar in contact plates, settle plates and broths for environmental monitoring (surface monitoring, passive air sampling and production instrument validation) in Pharmaceutical Production Facilities. These products are manufactured in Germany in a brand new state-of-the-art, GMP factory and they have a number of unique selling points.

My client also produces a range of products for Active Air Sampling consisting of a hand held instrument and special agar strips for capturing and growing microbiological organisms. These products are used in Pharmaceutical Production and Quality Control, Hospitals (mostly in Pharmacy QC and by Infection Control) and a variety of environmental and food companies. Recent additions to the range include state of the art particle counters and rapid method PCR kits.

A role has arisen to sell these microbiology products in the South of England.

Essential Skills: Qualified Microbiologist, minimum level HND, preferred degree or above.
Sales experience and good sales skills are essential. The post also requires long term relationship building and the person will have to develop into the company “Ambassador” in Southern England.


Salary: Depending on experience : £30 – 35,000 + £5,000 bonus + Company car, BUPA, generous contributory pension scheme subsistence allowance etc…

Location: West of London in the M4 / M40 corridor
