Northern sales manager - clinical diagnostics

Job Title: Northern Region Sales Manager – clinical diagnostics

Job Description: Due to internal promotion a regional sales manager position has become available within a clinical diagnostics company. The role is responsible for a team of about 7 including sales and product specialists. Responsibilities will include recruitment and training of sales team and assisting with tendering to the NHS and private diagnostic labs.

Essential Skills: Ideally candidates will have a biomedical science background. Sales experience to the NHS is essential and man management skills would be an advantage.

Salary: £45 – 50,000 + 50% bonus + package

Location: North UK, with good airport and motorway access eg Manchester

Job Description: Our client, one of the market leaders in clinical diagnostics has a territory available for the M62 corridor, and south to the Trent area. The range of analysers and instrumentation includes clinical chemistry, haematology, immunoassay analysers and automation all to be sold to NHS laboratories.

Essential Skills: Candidates will require a Biomedical Science qualification and at least 18 months field sales experience to clinical laboratories.

Salary: £30 – 35,000 basic + 30% bonus for OTE + package

Job Description: A new opportunity has arisen with our client, one of the main companies in clinical diagnostics. The role is for an account manager in a south east England territory which includes East Anglia, to West of the M25, the home counties and to the south coast. Customers will be NHS and private hospital laboratories.
The clinical diagnostic market is highly competitive requiring a mix of sales skills, interpersonal skills and structured planning. The role of the account manager is pivotal in maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction which requires close communication with customer support personnel. Multi level account management activities and participation in project teams will maximize and broaden the business potential in all existing accounts in addition developing third party accounts and gaining new business via competitive displacement.

Essential Skills: Candidates will need a track record in sales to the NHS PCTs, ideally capital equipment or point of care. The product emphasis is clinical chemistry however specialist knowledge is not necessary. The main experience required is that of selling business solutions.

Salary: £38 – 42,000 basic + 50% bonus + package

Location: South East

Job Description: Our client is a Belgian biotech company founded in 2003. They specialise in producing equipment, kits, reagents and anti-bodies for molecular biology research. There are 2 main areas: Epigenetics and Molecular diagnostics and our client is at the forefront of research in these areas. After extra-ordinary growth in sales on the continent and in the US, our client seeks to appoint a talented sales professional to be the first representative in the UK. This role will focus on sales to academic research in epigenetics (80% of customers) with some industrial accounts. It is hoped that in time this first UK representative will become the UK sales manager and employ more staff.
Obviously extensive travel is required throughout the UK and Ireland for customer visits and to attend exhibitions.

Essential Skills: BSc life sciences with molecular biology lab experience. At least 2 years scientific sales within the molecular biology/ genetics sector

Salary: Circa £30,000 basic + £10,000 comm + package

Location: Central to cover UK and Ireland

Job Description: Our client is looking to appoint an experienced salesperson to sell their range of haematology and clinical chemistry analysers to hospital laboratories in the Midlands and Wales.

Must be capable of working as part of a team. Willing to continuously develop & keep skills up to date. Have a working knowledge of NHS structures and the buying process. Salary: Negotiable depending on experience up to £35,000 Basic + commission
