Clinical diagnostics sales

Job Title: Area sales – clinical diagnostics

Job Code: MW 05

Job Description: Sales of a range of diagnostic kits and an instrument for bone and mineral metabolism markers. The role has arisen due to internal promotion. The territory is the south east including Oxford and Cambridge with 90% of your time spent in London.

Essential Skills: Biomedical background with a track record in sales. Sales experience to the NHS would be a bonus as would instrumentation sales. Candidates without sales experience may be considered if they have good hands on experience of ELISAs and can demonstrate the determination necessary to succeed in field sales.

Salary: Up to £35,000 basic + uncapped bonus of £5 – 10k for OTE + excellent package

Location: South East

Job Description: Our client is the world’s leading supplier of in-line checkweighing, metal detection and x-ray inspection solutions. They have a new position for a sales engineer to cover northern England and Scotland selling product inspection equipment into accounts including food and pharmaceutical production.

Essential Skills: Candidates will need to be of graduate calibre ideally with an engineering background. You should have a proven track record of selling Product Inspection equipment such as Checkweighers, X-ray machines and Metal Detectors to the food and pharma industry, with a minimum of 5 years sales experience. They are seeking a self-motivated individual who can demonstrate they have a strong will to succeed. Applicants must be PC literate and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: Up to £35k basic + £10,000 OTE

Location: Scotland or Northern England

Minimum two years direct selling experience within the biotech industry focused upon high technology research products including Functional Genomics (RNAi, QPCR, protein array technologies) and Proteomics (protein expression and analysis).
A proven track record of exceptional sales results with a strong ability to communicate and produce business solutions for customers. Being able to demonstrate creativity and innovation
A proven ability to map and plan activities, devising and executing business plans.
The ability to deliver technical and commercial presentations.
Evidence of an active team player approach.
The personality, drive and enthusiasm to succeed and achieve in this challenging position.
Salary: £32,000 basic negotiable depending on experience

The candidate will be joining a highly innovative and strategically important part of the business and will be involved in taking new products to market and establishing a market leadership position in the Applied Testing field. Key tasks will be managing tactical marketing activities across the region, such as conferences and direct marketing.
