Job Description: A vacancy has arisen at one of the best known manufacturers of molecular biology research kits. The role is for a Marketing Manager to be based either in West Sussex or Germany. The candidate will be joining a highly innovative and strategically important part of the business and will be involved in taking new products to market and establishing a market leadership position in the Applied Testing field. The responsible market segments will include genetic identification and veterinary diagnostics. Key tasks will be managing tactical marketing activities across the region, such as conferences and direct marketing.
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Director, this person will need to be self-motivated and very reliable. A willingness to travel is essential for this role as it involves a reasonable amount of pan-European travel.



Essential Skills: Minimum 3+ years’ sales and / or marketing experience
u Minimum level of education: Diploma / PhD or equivalent in natural sciences
u Proven experience in Applied Testing field
u Proven business successes in business analysis, planning and implementation
u Established leadership abilities
u Open minded
u Strong communication and presentation skills
u Fluency in English
u Travel up to 30% of time


Salary: £35,000 + bonus + car

Location: Crawley, West Sussex or Germany
