Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced manager for its European marketing communications group located near Paris. The Bioscience Division of this corporation provides innovative tools, services and biological reagents that drive advancements in biomedical and academic research and support the discovery and development of new pharmaceuticals. Main customers are leading research laboratories throughout the world.
You will be expected to: Work in close relationships with the product marketing and sales managers to develop and execute the marketing communications plans for Europe. Manage a team of 2-5 people to translate the business goals and strategies of 4 business units into actionable and measurable MarCom campaigns within defined deadlines and budgets. Ensure strong alignment with corporate and divisional communication goals and branding strategy.
Essential Skills: Business degree in Marketing Communications, MBA or Marketing plus a degree in a Life Science discipline (BA/BSc in biology, biochemistry preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in the management of marketing communications projects and people management, preferably in a related industry.
Demonstrated track record in the development of complex marketing communications programs:
Ability to manage, to develop, and to lead a team in a fast-moving, matrix and international environment.
Ability to translate the business goals and strategies of several business units into actionable and measurable MarCom campaigns within defined deadlines and budgets.
Salary: €50,000 – 58,000
